You can create subprojects without any set dates in them. This way, the subprojects can be linked to supertasks in a number of different master projects or to more than one supertask within a single master project.
Any dates you set override the dates MacProject II calculates, as in any other project. You should set dates only if necessary.

Choose Get Master Project Dates from the Dates menu.
Important: Dates from the supertask are not stored in the subproject. They only appear there when you open the subproject from the master project or when you choose Get Master Project Dates.
If a subproject is linked to more than one supertask, a dialog box lets you select the supertask whose dates you want to display.
